Surf and Weather and Fishing Report: Foggy this morning but should burn off soon. The weather is so nice especially before season and not many people out here. Jetties still closed. Venice Florida Fishing Report Sept: We see whats biting every morning the weather is good and let you know here. Your Venice Florida fishing report for today is: Good early and late, kinda slow mid-day but better than working. Gotta hit the backwater for now, we know a few spots that have been working. Redfish and Trout are able to be kept in slot sizes, snook from the pier north when in season. Self-guided kayak fishing available at Jetty rentals at the North Jetty on the south end of Casey Key. 941-525-0117.
