Explaining Florida’s new beach access law
So on high tide you are not allowed on the beach in front of houses. Everyone pays taxes for the upkeep of the sand/dredging and that sand is called public property. So all taxpayers are paying for the sand that 99% of them aren’t allowed to walk on. And the guy that signed the bill into law owns a bunch of beachfront property. And its the first law like this in the entire country. Always looking out for the richest guys out there. Real fair guys.
Let’s set up in front of his house and have a soft top party/skim jam. We can even get a bunch of old guys in Speedos sunbathing!
Complete horse sheet. Rich sob’s takin’ over! Why don’t we start paying them for the privilege of even using the water in front of their houses? Then, we can eliminate their real estate taxes, because they have so much money they don’t send their kids to public schools anyway. Screw it, let’s just ask them to allow us to work for them for free, clearly having enough money to live on the beach means God loves them more, so we should just let them take over, kinda like the feudal system in England that we fought a war over starting back in 1776.
