Surf and Weather Report: Looking like a rainy day with no waves today. Cold fronts are starting to filter down this time of year. Usually 1 will swing down far enough to cool us down and bring us surf. Unfortunately they are coming more from the north and not the west so not gonna make it down to us just yet, maybe the next one. If you went east yesterday you made a good call, shots below. Venice Florida Fishing Report weekend of Oct 9: Your Venice Florida fishing report for today is: The fishing has been insane. Go fishing guys. Offshore fishing is great right now. FWC makes snook, redfish temporarily catch-and-release only in areas affected by red tide.
