Morning Surf Report: Small north wave coming in, possibly loggable at a lower tide here at north. Probably rideable at south. No surf this week gulf side but the east coast looking fun late week into the weekend. The county is looking to do something about the ol fish camp, you can email a guy to put your 2 cents in. Venice Florida Fishing Report Nov 21: Your Venice Florida fishing report for today is: Mucho fish rating near shore. Saw a few sheepshead and a small redfish caught at the jetty this morning. Talk of pompano earlier and mackeral last night.
Nov 19: Took a paddle board in the back water this morning and saw a lot of sheepshead, some really big ones. Saw some snook too.
Catching pompano, sheepshead, snapper, snook and reds over the last few days. You can always find fish around here in the rivers and offshore. FWC makes snook, redfish temporarily catch-and-release only in areas affected by red tide. Guided kayak fishing available at Jetty rentals at the North Jetty on the south end of Casey Key. 941-525-0117.
