Eve Update: Fun waves came in all day and surprisingly turned on a bit an hour before dark. Check out the proof in the photo section. May be a chilly very small wave in the morning.
Noon Update: Its been super clean all morning and looking to continue in the cleanliness. Waist sets and looking to continue in the waistness. The water is pretty warm out there. 2 mil will work, even a top for awhile. Waves could get better with the incoming tide and longer period swell but don’t count on it. Still should be fun till dark.
9am Update: Super clean but high tidey right now. Maybe look for a shallower spot if you want to short board but bring the small wave destroyers get in the rain. Still raining, sprinkling really. Probably a freak gulf waist high set out there.
8am Surf and Weather Report: Waking up to some rain. Might be raining till noon give or take. Looking a little wonky at north but south jetty looking groooomed, maybe a waist set out there. Light offshore winds right now. Get out there if you can. Tides are on the higher side today so waves could be holding off a bit. Morning visual coming soon. Click here for the indepth Surf Forecast.
Water temp pushing 67. Check the red tide at Red Tide Status. …Red Tide Map Showers, mainly before 1pm. High near 66. North northeast wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
