Surf and Weather Report: Opening shot is from last night. The buoy is 3 ft at 4 secs, there may be a small wave left over out there for beginners and groms. South west wind still almost 15mph so it could be rideable all day. The skim should be good though. Back to work and fishing for the rest of you. Venice Florida Fishing Report June 11: Your Venice Florida fishing report for today is: Firing! Snook fishing in on fire this time of year. You can always find fish around here in the rivers and offshore. FWC makes snook, redfish temporarily catch-and-release only in areas affected by red tide. Self-guided kayak fishing available at Jetty rentals at the North Jetty on the south end of Casey Key. 941-525-0117.
