Morning Surf Report: Other pics from Nov 2017. Small south wave this morning plowing at about ankle high with shin sets. We have a very slow moving front and a tropical system moving into the Caribbean. The cold front will push that wave out to the ATL but it could bring some fun surf to the east coast and Caribbean. This cold front is a weird one. The models are all over the place so far. Now its looking like we could have a south swell push before the north swell front. Low confidence Wed afternoon swell but it could slow down again. Can’t trust the models all the time, gotta go on best guessing based on gulf surf history. Best bet is to be prepared. Thursday and Friday most likely. We’ll keep an eye on it. Check the updated Full Surf Forecast.
Water temp pushing 80. Check the red tide at Red Tide Status. A slight chance of showers between 10am and 1pm, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. South wind 7 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
