Eve Update: The buoy jumped up to 4.6ft at 6 secs. Could’ve been fun out there, we didn’t make it down but it down but the cam looked like it had the potential. Lets see if TD8 gives us more waves. We’re thinking yeah cause a lot of wind is coming from the bottom of the storm pointing our way. Guess we’ll find out tomorrow.
9am Update: Couple super clean knee high sets out here. Hoping it gets a little better this eve when the tide drops. It’ll be breaking closer to shore til late afternoon but its rideable. Get out there whenever you can.
Surf and Weather Report: The buoy is 3ft at 5secs but the surf is pretty small right now because of the tides. There should be a small wave out there for a few days possibly getting bigger as we watch 91L/TD8/TS Hanna strengthen as it develops in the middle of the Gulf. Some forecasters calling for Gonzalo to make it into the Gulf if it makes it through the Caribbean. Low tide at 8am High around 2pm. Keep checking. Always bring your board to the beach JIC. For more info on the storms check the = Thursday night Indepth Surf Forecast. Fishing should be great with the barometer jumping.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 90. Heat index values as high as 104. East wind 10 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Rules of Surfing: If you want to learn to surf its time to look at some of the rules. Or even if you’ve been surfing for awhile maybe you don’t really know the rules. Maybe you’re getting run over a lot, maybe you’re getting yelled at here and there. Well apply the rules in this Surfline Article and maybe that’ll happen a little less. Maybe.
