3pm Update: The struggle is real out there guys. Super windy but the steady duck diving at the jetty will keep you warm at least. Wind turning slightly more north but so strong at over 30mph. Wind isn’t switching more north/northeast until early tomorrow morning. Get some exercise out there today. It’s a workout but better than running 5 miles.
Almost 8am Morning Surf Report: The Egmont buoy is 8 ft at 7 secs, Wind NW wind over 25mph with gusts of over 30. Not surprising blustery, blown out conditions at the jetty this morning. Gonna pretty much be like this all day. Head to a reeeealy south facing beach for some serious offshore/sideshore super drifty fun ones. Check the indepth updated Sunday Morning Surf Forecast for more.
