Eve Update: The waves were definitely more fun than expected. When you haven’t surfed in 24 days you don’t take many shots. But check some out from this evening.6-8-19 // North Jetty Eve
Surf and Weather Report: Well its breaking out there…barely. The skim should be super fun. Higher tides over the next few days meaning if theres not a lot of swell in the water its gonna break close to shore. Could be slightly better this evening. Grab a fishing pole, skim board and longboard and get to the beach! Don’t wanna say that this system took a big dump but a lot of juice has been squeezed out of it. Venice Florida Fishing Report June 7: Your Venice Florida fishing report for today is: Firing! We are into tarpon season and the snook bite is good too. 1st cast from the jetty on the inlet side got a pompano yesterday. You can always find fish around here in the rivers and offshore. FWC makes snook, redfish temporarily catch-and-release only in areas affected by red tide. Self-guided kayak fishing available at Jetty rentals at the North Jetty on the south end of Casey Key. 941-525-0117.
