Surf and Weather Report: It is still seaweed city at North Jetty. Looking over at South Jetty the seaweed doesn’t look that bad. Summer weather pattern continuing. A weak tropical disturbance coming up from the carribean. Not looking like a wave maker. Indepth Surf Forecast Updated

Venice Florida Fishing Report July 29: Your Venice Florida fishing report for today is: Really Good! Snook, snapper out there. A lot of baby grouper being caught off the jetty. Offshore fishing is great right now. FWC makes snook, redfish temporarily catch-and-release only in areas affected by red tide. Self-guided kayak fishing available at Jetty rentals at the North Jetty on the south end of Casey Key. 941-525-0117.
