Surf and Weather Report: Its a little windier than expected today but still not bad. If you think season is here think again. It really picks up around the last 2 weeks of Feruary, its gonna get packed. The weather is looking great this upcoming week, next chance for surf maybe Friday. Venice Florida Fishing Report Feb 10: Your Venice Florida fishing report for today is: The fishing has been a little slow. It should be jamming. I’ve seen little sheepies and snapper. A guy did get a 35 inch snook yesterday using a white paddle tail. The water is getting cooler. Go fishing guys. FWC makes snook, redfish temporarily catch-and-release only in areas affected by red tide. Self-guided kayak fishing available at Jetty rentals at the North Jetty on the south end of Casey Key. 941-525-0117.
Snook Redfish and Spotted Sea Trout are catch and release till May of 2020.
