9:30am Update: Yeah theres a rogue waist drop here and there. Mostly knee high.High tide around 1:30pm. Hopefully it’ll stick around but don’t get your hopes up. 6 days of waves, can’t complain to much
7am Surf and Weather Report: Might rain today. The buoy is 3.6ft at 6secs out of the west while the wind is outta the south. We’ve definitely a rideable wave out there still in the knee-thigh range, maybe a rogue waist drop. Looking to fade into flatness as the day rolls on but ya never know. TS Wilfred could become a Cat 1 hurricane in the western Gulf but if that waters warm it could intensify just like almost every other storm that has hit the Gulf has. Meanwhile the East Coast will be bombing Sunday through Wednesday at least. Working on photos today and some last night, check below.
Surfing fun waves 5 days in a row kinda makes you feel like everything is ok. It takes your mind off the weird times that we live in and the stupid news for a brief moment. It probably has something to do with getting regular exercise and being in the water. We still have a wave today, do yourself a favor and get some exercise, go surf. Updates coming. = Updated Indepth Surf Forecast

Rules of Surfing: If you want to learn to surf its time to look at some of the rules. Or even if you’ve been surfing for awhile maybe you don’t really know the rules. Maybe you’re getting run over a lot, maybe you’re getting yelled at here and there. Well apply the rules in this Surfline Article and maybe that’ll happen a little less. Maybe.
