2pm Update: The tide is high, the wind is starting to blow a little harder, the waves are rideable, probably in the knee plus set range. Nobody is out. Maybe its to small, maybe they don’t wanna get arrested. It could get better before dark. Get ready for tomorrow.
8am: Surf and Weather Report: We have a small wave already this morning. Barely long boardable right now. Should get some bigger waves filling in from the cold front swell this afternoon/evening.
South Jetty has been breaking good but again the Army Core said they will call the police if surfers trespass. Maybe look for another spot unless you wanna get hassled. We dealt with a lot of it on Wednesday.
South Jetty beach access from the parking lot is closed because of dredging. One of the workers told me that it should take a month and they’ll be dredging the intracoastal waterway moving toward and around snake island. Indepth Surf Forecast Update.
