Morning Surf Report:
Not one named storm in June that affected us. There is an average of 1 named storm in July. More moisty weather today. These storms can bring in a small long dog wave and yesterday was a prime example. Wind blew out of the west for 1 hour at over 20mph giving us a fun longboard wave for a little while. Very very slight red tide this morning. Look at it for yourself: Red Tide Status.Check out the Indepth weekly Surf Forecast .Partly sunny. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms early in the morning, then scattered thunderstorms late this morning and afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the southwest in the afternoon. Chance of rain 40 percent.
So on high tide you are not allowed on the beach in front of houses. Everyone pays taxes for the upkeep of the sand/dredging and that sand is called public property. So all taxpayers are paying for the sand that 99% of them aren’t allowed to walk on. And the guy that signed the bill into law owns a bunch of beachfront property. And its the first law like this in the entire country. Always looking out for the richest guys out there. Real fair guys.
