6PM Update: Strong east wind and the south swell didn’t fill in. Not until 6 at least. A few knee high set longboard wave and a very fun skim wave. Maybe it’ll pick up before sunset. Looking like we got gulf coasted. Hopefully the south facing beaches caught it better. Get ready to surf tomorrow.
3PM Update: A small wave is out there right now. Many a beach has been checked. Hit the most south facing beaches for the most success today. The 42097 Buoy is picking up. That one looks like its 70 miles west of Naples. Hopefully it’ll hit us before dark. There is a small long board wave that will be more rideable as the tide drops. Low at 6PM. Get to the beach and wait.
7:30am Morning Surf Report: Waking up to the buoy at 3ft at 5secs South with light offshore winds. May gives us higher tides than usual so it will be breaking closer to shore.
