Evening Update: The buoy is 6.5 ft at 9 secs. Thats good for our area of the Gulf. The wind is still blasting over 20. Fun waves till dark. You had to wait for one that didn’t have a little wave in front of it. Some chest high sets out there for sure. Get ready for a fun surf day tomorrow. The water is so warm around 70 degrees but that strong NW wind kept it cool. Its gonna be in the high forties first thing in the morning. Incoming tide from first light tomorrow till 12:20PM high tide. Should be fun all day but were thinking best in the morning. Get to bed early.
Afternoon Surf Report: Overcast out here this afternoon, Maybe a waist set out there right now. NW winds around 20 mph since 9am, buoy is 4ft at 6 secs. Kind of a high low tide at 4 pm then it just keeps getting higher. Get ready to surf people. There may be a freak chest before dark. A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 71. Windy, with a northwest wind 17 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. People say to fish before the front and after the front. Snook season Opened March 1st. Pompano are biting hard, blues, mackeral and a lot of sheepshead. Brad Wesoloski: Not too much going on this morning. A few sheepshead here and there. Blake managed this little guy about a foot long. Sent back to swim another day.
