Morning Surf Report:
The surf conditions have been pretty much flap jacks as far as the eye can see, maybe a skim wave when the storms slide by. No surf in the next week or so either.
A lot of beach goers have been coming up to the jetty cause of the red tide down south. No red tide at the jetty. Hope it continues like this. Heard a few more dead manatees have been showing up in Charlotte County. Check it for yourself: Red Tide Status.Check out the Indepth weekly Surf Forecast .Scattered thunderstorms through the day. Numerous showers late this morning and early afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.
So on high tide you are not allowed on the beach in front of houses. Everyone pays taxes for the upkeep of the sand/dredging and that sand is called public property. So all taxpayers are paying for the sand that 99% of them aren’t allowed to walk on. And the guy that signed the bill into law owns a bunch of beachfront property. And its the first law like this in the entire country. Always looking out for the richest guys out there. Real fair guys.
